Honestly, getting permanent makeup has been one of the best decisions I’ve made recently. It has taken a huge chunk out of my morning routine, and I love that I can roll out the door already looking put together.
I no longer have to rush around with a makeup bag before work or brunch because now it’s just wake up, get dressed, and go. It has made me feel more confident, too.
After such a good experience, I figured I’d share a few of the top clinics in Edmonton where you can get it done in case you’ve been thinking about trying it yourself.

Brow Envy is where I went for my permanent makeup, and I can see why they have such a strong reputation. Their crew is highly experienced, and in 2025, they were named Canada Prestige’s Beauty Salon of the Year, which feels well deserved.
I feel a big part of that recognition comes from how long their results last. People I spoke with said their makeup held up for as long as 36 months before needing a touch-up. I only had mine done recently, but I’m hoping for the same.
They also make things easier with bundle pricing if you book more than one service, plus financing through Credee and Medicard.
On the downside, I had to pay a $50 consultation fee for my first visit, and it can be tough to get an appointment since they book up quickly.

Beautiful The Permanent Makeup Clinic has been around in Edmonton for years and is run by Erin Leanne Rae, who has been in the game since 2006. She only does permanent makeup, which I actually like because it means that’s her specialization.
Brows are the big draw, with options like powder ombre or nano strokes, but she also offers lips and eyeliner if that’s what you’re after. What stood out to me is that she uses hypoallergenic mineral pigments and hospital-grade freezing, so the whole process is safer and more comfortable.
Every service comes with a free touch-up once healed, and if you return within 12 to 36 months, you get $50 off the original price.
However, it’s disappointing that bookings are only done via phone. The inconsistent operating hours can also be tricky to follow.

Studio Vanassa is a solid pick if you’re looking for a diverse range of permanent makeup services. Their brow work stands out, with powder ombre and combo styles that can look soft and natural.
But what really caught my attention are their unique options like faux freckles, which are quite trendy these days. They can even enhance a beauty mark or turn a freckle into a small heart that feels playful without being over the top.
I also like that they offer paramedical tattooing, like stretch mark camouflage. Their inkless version is especially interesting, since it uses serums to help the skin repair itself rather than relying on pigment.
The downside is the price, since touch-ups run around $263, and appointments fill up fast. You usually need to book at least a week in advance to enjoy their services.

As the name suggests, Evolve PMU Studio Academy works both as a permanent makeup clinic and a training academy. They’ve been around since 2019 and focus mainly on brows, lips, and eyeliner.
The service that stands out most to me is their 3D Hairstroke technique. It’s meant to mimic real hair growth, so the brows look soft and natural rather than heavily filled in. It’s a good choice if you want something that blends in instead of looking drawn on.
I also noticed they run regular promotions and offer financing, which helps since permanent makeup isn’t cheap. Their refer-a-friend deal is another perk if you have someone curious to try it.
On the flip side, they ask for a 50% deposit to book an appointment, and their operating hours can feel inconsistent, which may throw people off.

They even offer a solid range of paramedical tattoos. One example is their scalp micropigmentation, which can help if you’re dealing with thinning hair. Their 3D areola tattooing is also worth noting, since it helps people after surgery and feels more restorative than cosmetic.
It’s also a good thing that they run seasonal deals and provide financing via AfterPay to make their services a bit more affordable.
Just keep in mind that they require a $100 deposit to secure a booking, and there’s a $20 consultation fee for first-time appointments.
