Operating since 1979, Ideal Sundecks is best known for its sunrooms and solariums, but I also heard that they do decks. I went with them, thanks to my friends’ recommendation, and I was glad I did.
When I reached out to them, they were quick to give me a free estimate based on the design I provided. The estimate was also reasonable, and an agent named Paul broke down all the costs (e.g., permits and materials) in a clear manner.
The design process was a highlight as well. Paul was amazing to work with; he listened to my ideas and gave many suggestions. He translated my vision into a detailed design plan that exceeded my expectations.
I didn’t have to worry much when it was time for construction. The team kept me up-to-date with every step, and they also finished fast, way ahead of schedule!
This company offers a five-year warranty for their decks as well! It covers everything, so if there’s ever a problem, they’ll fix it.
My experience was great overall, but some clients told me they suffered some communication issues. One told me that he waited for more than a month to hear back from the builders or even receive a quote from them.

Clients also have great things to say about the team here. Some of them shared that the team was flexible and patient with them. They made some requests, and the builders complied.
This company also offers a warranty for both the materials and the labour. Once that warranty expires after two years, you can still reach out to them if your deck gets damaged. They can repair it for you!
That said, I’ve heard that their prices can be on the higher side. Fortunately, you can ask for a free quote ahead of time, and if you can’t afford to pay the full amount, they offer a financing program.
