The Mover Guys is one of my top picks because they keep things straightforward. Their furniture delivery service works well if you’re in a hurry since they promise same-day delivery and bring your item right to your door.
Getting a quote is free, and they’ll also run deliveries between Edmonton and Calgary. I like that they’ll handle donation drop-offs too, so old furniture can go to a good place.
Another perk is no cancellation fees, which makes booking feel less stressful.
That said, there are some downsides. I’ve heard of appointments being cancelled at the last minute, which can throw off your plans. And if you pay by credit card, there’s a 4% fee that adds up.

Friend with a Truck is a small moving crew that I think works well for furniture deliveries. They’re incorporated, insured, and covered by WCB, which makes me feel better about trusting them with heavy pieces.
It also helps that they go beyond Edmonton’s city limits and cover surrounding areas like Sherwood Park and St Albert. Booking is easy since they offer free quotes, and everything can be done online.

PJ Moving Solutions was the one I hired to deliver my furniture straight to my home. They can be booked for around $100 per hour, and since they offer free delivery estimates, I figured I could get decent service at a fair price.
It took them a few hours to bring everything in, but none of my stuff had scratches.
I already felt confident they’d handle things carefully, especially with their full liability protection plan and satisfaction guarantee, which means you don’t pay unless you’re happy with the job.
I also liked their SMS alerts, which kept me updated while they picked up and delivered my furniture. Their Gold Plan is nice too since it includes furniture assembly and in-home delivery, saving me the hassle of setting things up myself.
Still, they sometimes didn’t reply right away, and the Gold plan’s higher cost might turn off budget-minded folks.

Last Stop Moving is a decent choice if you need furniture delivered fast. I tried looking into them and found they’re pretty straightforward about what they offer.
They give free estimates, so you know what you’re paying before anything happens. They also have flexible scheduling and even same-day service, so if you suddenly need help getting a couch across town, they’ll probably fit you in.
I like that they pad-wrap all furniture since it shows they actually care about keeping things safe. They even have storage options if you’re not ready to move everything in yet.
On the flip side, you do have to put down a $100 deposit to confirm a booking. Also, their liability coverage is limited to $0.60 per pound per item, which might not be enough for pricey furniture.

Delivery Shuttle has been around since 2019 and mainly helps with furniture delivery around Edmonton. Based on what I found, they use padded blankets and straps to keep furniture safe while moving, which is a huge plus when it comes to delicate pieces.
They’ll also put your furniture together once it’s dropped off, which saves time. Getting a free quote is easy, and you can pick a delivery slot that fits your day.
The downside is the booking part. There’s no online system, so you’ve got to email or call, which feels a bit outdated. Some folks say they’ve had missed appointments, too.
Overall, they’re decent for careful furniture delivery and assembly, just not the most reliable or modern setup.
