Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Arc Surveys is one of our picks because they ensure they get a complete picture of your property. They use drone technology and topographic methods to capture incredibly detailed 3D site models and high-resolution imagery.

This high-tech approach means they easily reach tricky areas that traditional methods might miss.

They also handle residential building permits to complex commercial layouts, making them accessible to homeowners and entrepreneurs.

We appreciate that the team focuses on providing personal, direct access to an Alberta Land Surveyor (ALS) to answer all your questions.

However, their primary focus rests on small to mid-sized properties. If you manage massive institutional or corporate projects, you might need to look for a firm with a larger scale.

Pros

  • Advanced drone technology
  • Detailed 3D site models
  • Direct access to an ALS
  • Covers residential and commercial jobs

Cons

  • Less suited for massive corporate jobs

Quick and efficient fence line survey

Had them come out to my place to survey a fence line, date was Tuesday at 1:30 PM. At 12:45 I get a knock on my door, I love when companies actually prioritize their customers. They knocked it out within the hour. If you have ANY land surveying needs I suggest you give Moe a call at Milestone….. #greatguy

Weekend survey completed despite bad weather

Moe completed a survey for us in a very short amount out time, told us he’d be out to take the measurements and even when the weather turned bad he followed through with his word and got it done. Very happy with his work and he was even able to finish up the survey over a weekend. Definitely out of the ordinary considering most places won’t work outside of “business hours”. Thank you Moe!

Saved me from an unnecessary resurvey

Friendly and efficient. I mistakenly thought I needed to redo my grading certificate and instead of letting me make my mistake, they called me and told me I likely did not need to resurvey and just needed to contact city. Made my day knowing I saved $170! When they came to do the survey they were friendly and introduced themselves too. Great experience overall.

Address: #200, 9413 45 Ave

Contact: 780-851-2289 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

We like Action Surveys for focusing on speed and budget, committing to affordable rates and quick turnarounds. This makes them a fantastic pick for homeowners on a budget and builders who need fast approvals to keep their projects moving.

One of our favourite things is their ability to handle all land surveying needs, from municipalities to environmental.

They also guide clients through the entire subdivision process, from the initial application right to municipal endorsement. Their team even manages most of the heavy lifting internally to save you the headache.

One limitation to consider is their shorter history compared to local rivals. They launched in 2016, so they lack the multi-decade track record some clients prefer.

Pros

  • Fast turnaround times
  • Handles all land surveying services
  • Full support for subdivision applications
  • Affordable pricing

Cons

  • Shorter business expertise
