What I like about them is that they’re quick to act. As soon as I called them, they scheduled to have someone come to my house to inspect. And the best part is that this inspection is free!
Right after the inspection, Abalon’s experts gave me an estimate, and they were transparent about it; every expense they thought I might have was included. This is great because even though the final result didn’t require all of them, I was still able to prepare financially.
For my specific issue, they fixed a foundation crack, but this company offers other services as well, such as basement waterproofing repair and foundation piling and underpinning. They also cater to a wide variety of clients—from residential to commercial and industrial.
Oh, and one more thing: they offer a lifetime warranty. And if you sell your home, the new owner can enjoy a 10-year warranty in case another problem pops up. That’s so neat and considerate if you ask me.
If I have to pick one thing I don’t like about my Abalon experience, it’s that the team working to fix my foundation was a bit loud and messy. They blasted music during their work, and they didn’t clean up after they were done for the day. I wasn’t too bothered because the result was excellent, but this is one thing to consider if you hire them.

Abarent Construction has been operating since 1989, and not only does it serve Edmonton, but it also has a location in Vancouver. It’s undoubtedly a popular company, and after asking around, I think it’s safe to say its popularity is justified.
I consulted them one time because I thought there was another problem with my basement. An expert came and checked the area, and his assessment was comprehensive and clear, and I was impressed.
Ultimately, there was no serious problem, so no need for an actual repair, but if there was, I wouldn’t hesitate to book their services. This company offers many solutions to all sorts of problems: cracked tiles and cracks are the most common, but they also deal with warped siding, water in the basement, shifting walls, sloping floors, and more.
I asked some of the company’s former clients, and they all said that the repair process is very thorough and methodical. In just a few days, their issues are resolved, which is impressive.

When all the finer details have been settled and agreed upon, it’s time for the work to begin. The way the people here work it’s like a well-oiled machine. The team is divided into sub-teams, each with its own roles and responsibilities.
Their workmanship is neat and meticulous, too. By the time they finish, you can hardly tell that there was any problem in the first place. Your foundation will look as good as new!
Unfortunately, its scope is pretty limited. They can only work with concrete foundations. So, if your foundation is made of wood, stone, and other materials, you’ll have to find another company to repair your foundation.
