The Best Hotels with Jacuzzis in Edmonton Where I Can Soak After a Long Day

I usually stay at hotels for work, which means that my days are long and mostly spent talking to people and moving from one conference room to another. By the end of the day, my muscles are sore, and I’m so ready to collapse.

That’s why I prefer staying at a hotel with a Jacuzzi—be it inside the bathroom or by the pool. The idea of just taking a long soak in foamy hot water is so tantalizing. My muscles relax instantly, and I feel at peace.

If you’re visiting Edmonton and you’d like to stay in a hotel with a hot tub, here are a few of my recommendations.

JW Marriott Edmonton

From: lexxii86

Address: 10344 102 St NW, ICE District

Contact Number: +17807847950

Website

Cost: $$$

If I have to pick only one favourite off this list, it would have to be JW Marriott Edmonton. The hot tub is located in the same area as the pool, and the whole place looks like a wellness center: the windows are huge, letting in lots of natural light, and the colour palette evokes a sense of peace.

When I took a dip in this hot tub, I calmed down instantly. I ended up dozing off for a few minutes!

This hotel has their own spa with a tranquil pool that’s basically a hot tub, too. This one doesn’t come free with your stay, but if you have some spare cash, why not treat yourself to this pool and have a restful break?

Pro Tip:If you’re stopping by the spa, you might want to book their special wellness journeys like Doctor Babor Wellness Facial or The Whole You.

Fantasyland Hotel

Cost: $$

Fantasyland Hotel is one of my favourite hotels because it’s pretty unique. The decor is so imaginative—the colours are bright, and the decorations range from beautiful flowers to futuristic lights. This hotel makes me think that I’m in an actual fantasy land!

Each room has its own private hot tub, and it looks grand with its golden accents and a Roman-style statue propped up nearby. Taking a soak in this tub feels very romantic, which is why it’s popular among couples on dates.

But it’s also possible to enjoy the tub solo. I personally love bringing a bunch of snacks and my Kobo so that I can enjoy some quiet reading time before I go to bed.

Pro Tip:This hotel often hosts special promotions like packages and discounts.

Fairmont Hotel Macdonald

From: fairmontmac

Address: 10065 100 St NW

Cost: $$$

Want to feel like a prince or princess? Then, staying a day or two at Fairmont Hotel Macdonald should do the trick. This hotel is essentially a chateau on the river, and the interior matches the “old-school posh” kind of vibe.

Their guest rooms and suites are amazing, but I admit that the health club is my favourite. Not only is the fitness center here, but it also has a saltwater pool and a hot tub. The vibe here is peaceful, even when there are other people around.

Pro Tip:This hotel has special offers, like discounts and themed experiences, from time to time.

Sandman Signature is conveniently located in the city center, which is why it’s a go-to for many people who are on a work trip. The atmosphere here is also a combination of sleek and modern, so in a way, I can see why professionals love it.

Personally, I love their indoor pool area, which is located on the rooftop. There’s a hot tub to the side, and it’s situated near the windows, so I can enjoy the view of the city while soaking in the hot water and relaxing.

Keep in mind that this pool area can only be accessed via a stairwell.
Take advantage of their limited-time deals. They hold flash sales and special discounts every season.

Most of the hotels have their hot tubs inside. But sometimes, I like it when the hot tub is outside because I want to enjoy the fresh air and the sun, you know? If you agree, then you’ll like staying at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Edmonton South.

It feels so nice to sit back in the hot tub and take in the sight of the bright blue sky overhead. When I went here with my family, I enjoyed the tub with them because it’s spacious enough to accommodate all of us. Even the children are welcome to join in because the water is shallow.

Pro Tip:IHG has its own app that you can download via the App Store and Google Play Store. This app lets you keep track of your reservations, points, and rewards.

Hyatt Place Edmonton/Downtown

From: hyatt

Hyatt Place Edmonton/Downtown is a popular choice among tourists since it’s in a convenient location—near the West Edmonton Mall, the largest shopping mall in North America. The rooms here are also pretty modern and comfortable, so it’s easy to feel at home.

I was tired during my stay here, so I went to the pool area and took a dip in their hot tub. Instantly, the tension in my muscles eased. If you’re in the mood to swim, you can also dive into the pool, which is heated, so your muscles can keep relaxing.

Hilton Garden Inn West Edmonton

From: hiltongardeninn

Address: 17610 Stony Plain Rd

Contact Number: +17804432233

Website

Cost: $

If you prefer to enjoy a hot tub in the privacy of your room, then Hilton Garden Inn West Edmonton is the hotel for you. The suites come with a jetted tub, so be sure to choose one of them when booking your stay here.

I love that the hot tub is pretty big, so it’s perfect if you’re coming here with your partner. When I was done with my long soak, I headed straight for the bed, which is covered with a 250-thread-count sheet, so it’s incredibly soft, almost like being wrapped in a warm cocoon. I fell asleep like a baby in no time!

Pro Tip:Try to avail of any of their special offers, such as the opportunity to earn double Hilton Honours Points for each night of your stay and other limited-time discounts.

Best Western Cedar Park Inn

From: detroitdar_

Address: 5116 Gateway Blvd

Contact Number: +17804347411

Website

Cost: $

I confess that Best Western Cedar Park Inn is far from the glamorous hotels we see on TV, but if you want an affordable stay at a hotel with a hot tub, this is a great option.

Not all rooms have jetted tubs, so I recommend checking the site or asking the receptionist first before booking. Personally, I booked a suite because it’s spacious and most likely to have a hot tub in the bathroom.

The hot tub is big enough that I could fully extend my body in the water and lay my head down on the tub’s rim. It was a good napping spot, to be honest.

Pro Tip:This hotel often has special offers, like discounts and vouchers. You can also earn points, which you can redeem for rewards.

River Cree Resort

From: rivercreeresort

Address: 300 East Lapotac Boulevard, Enoch

Distance from EDM: Around 25 minutes

Contact Number: +17804842121

Website

Cost: $

Technically, River Cree Resort is located in Enoch, not in Edmonton, but it’s only a 25-minute drive away, so I say it still counts. Besides, this resort is a great place to be if you need cheering up because there are many entertainment options, from casino games to live shows!

When you’re done having fun all day long, head to the pool area where you can find a whirlpool tub.

Pro Tips:
You can give someone you love a gift card from this resort.
To make your stay even more memorable, you might want to book their bed and breakfast package

Super 8 by Wyndham Edmonton South

From: super8edmonntonsouth

Address: 3610 Gateway Blvd NW

Contact Number: +17804338688

Website

Cost: $

There are two reasons why I love Super 8 by Wyndham Edmonton South. The first is the fact that their rates are pretty affordable. The second is their pool area; they actually have a swirling waterslide, and the hot tub is tucked away in the corner, giving you a sense of privacy.

In my experience, this area doesn’t get crowded often, which is great because I prefer solitude when I’m in a hot tub. I brought my e-reader with me so that I could read while chilling.

Pro Tip:This hotel is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friend. Just make sure they’re well-behaved and don’t make a mess anywhere.
