Boudoir photography is gaining popularity among women, and I believe Acts of Beauty is one of the top studios for it in the city. I had a boudoir shoot as an anniversary gift for my husband, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
While boudoir isn’t for everyone, it’s encouraging to see its growth in Edmonton, especially with a quality studio like this.
A major highlight for me was how comfortable the team made me feel throughout the shoot. They assisted me in choosing outfits, finding flattering poses, and boosting my confidence.
The session cost $599, which included hair, makeup, outfit guidance, and treats like chocolate, champagne, or sparkling lemonade—definitely VIP treatment at a reasonable price.
My only concern was the additional costs for albums, wall art, and digital photos, which totalled about $1,500.
I was advised to bring my own wardrobe, which was challenging since I hadn’t done a boudoir shoot before, but the team helped me choose what suited me best. Props aren’t included, so feel free to bring anything you’d like to make your shoot more personal!
