The Gentlemen Pros Plumbing, Heating & Electrical are hands down our go-to team for unclogging the chaos life throws at us. With their A+ Better Business Bureau rating since 2004, they’ve more than earned our trust.
They also handle it all with expertise, from pesky drain issues to sneaky moisture buildup. The company is green about it too, using BioSmart solutions that get the job done without leaving an eco-footprint.
We also hire them for efficient sewer line inspections and emergency repairs, and they’re typically right on time, which is a bonus. Plus, we never had any trouble reaching them, and their transparency is solid; quotes don’t magically inflate.
That said, The Gentlemen Pros Plumbing, Heating & Electrical don’t come cheap, as we once shelled out around $800 for a single blockage fix, with a $90 service call fee on top. What’s more, their high demand means we usually have to wait to get on their schedule.

Unfortunately, their record isn’t spotless either. Some clients have complained about fixes that only held up for a week and less-than-friendly technicians.

My plumber who used to handle my plumbing needs told me that he cannot fix it without furring out the drywall on the main floor. Alexis was very helpful with excellent phone manners. Connor came on the scheduled day for quote and I was very happy to hear that he could fix the drain pipe at a reasonable cost. Anthony came to do the actual repair and he was very professional and efficient. Moreover, the company scores major points for innovation with their HydroScrub jetting service, a smart and quick way to blast away clogs and debris.
As for plumbers, Mr. Rooter has punctual, efficient, and polite ones—even rolling out mats and tidying up post-job. You can also count on them to simplify everything, down to the nitty-gritty details.
The main downside is pricing; their services can quickly add up. Factor in a $75 call-out fee and other extra charges, and you’re looking at a hefty bill. Furthermore, you’ll only get cost details in person, which is very inconvenient.
Fortunately, they don’t have overtime charges, and their fees are fixed.

You won’t run into surprise fees with them either; normally, their quotes accurately reflect the final bill, with no extra charges for weekends or holidays. In addition, the 90-day warranty means you’ll get a refund if they can’t solve the issue.
However, the lifetime warranty comes with a hefty price tag. Their financing options are also limited to their in-house program, so there’s no payment flexibility.
Finally, their customer service could use some work. Responses can be slow, and they have a history of canceling appointments.

We specifically hired them for water treatment and drain cleaning services, and fortunately, both worked like a charm. Their plumbers were never late, and they left our office and homes clean and tidy.
To top it off, transparency had never been an issue for us, and most fellow clients we chatted with echoed the same sentiment. Our team also never paid overtime or half-time fees, though we shelled out extra for call-out and diagnostic charges.
The biggest drawback, though, is their high prices. You must also factor in the extra charges like the dispatch, diagnostic, and callout fees.
