Hours: Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Friday, Closed | Saturday-Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Many creators struggle to find a spot offering both education and professional production. You might even find some of the best piano lessons in Edmonton happening right down the hall. Resonate operates as an all-in-one ecosystem where students and working musicians can learn and record under the same roof. The facility features three purpose-built rooms designed with double-wall construction to keep outside noise away from your sensitive microphones.

You can track solo vocals or fit a whole live band inside their main room. I spoke to a local drummer who loved using the studio’s vintage kits instead of hauling his own gear across town.

Their rates run below the city average at roughly $60 to $75 per hour. You just have to plan for a longer session since they require a strict two-hour minimum booking. Short vocal punch-ins simply aren’t possible here.

Pros

  • Below average hourly rates
  • Three distinct tracking rooms
  • Dedicated noise reduction systems
  • In-house vintage instruments provided

Cons

  • Minimum two-hour booking required
