They handle divorces, separations, child support and property division, but they also step into more sensitive areas like representing children in tough custody disputes. Victims of family violence can rely on them too for securing Emergency Protection Orders.
It’s also worth noting that they deal with assisted reproduction agreements, which is pretty niche. On the practical side, their lawyers can act as Commissioners of Oaths and Notaries Public, which is handy if you need documents witnessed.

What impressed me most was their track record. They have handled some tough cases over the years.
One that stood out involved a woman who owned her home after divorce and later entered a common-law relationship. Her partner tried to claim a large share of the house because he had done some work on it.
Healey Law showed the claim wasn’t justified and managed to limit it. They’ve also had success in complicated child support disputes.

That last one stood out to me since not many firms here are willing to step into child protection cases, especially when Children and Family Services gets involved.
What I also liked is how they run a paperless practice. You can easily sign documents remotely and not worry about piles of paperwork.
It’s good too that they give a full hour of free legal advice, which is more generous than most. They also accept Legal Aid, so they’re accessible to more people.
