Modern Comforts sorted out my mistake and kept the invoice fair. Their rates are consistent with Edmonton’s typical costs.
The secret is that they essentially cut the middleman, meaning their products are sourced directly from manufacturers. This lets clients browse market-level and even imported (Korean), high-end goods with factory-direct pricing.
Outside fitters aren’t needed as well, thanks to their full-service installation perk, which ticks both labour and materials. They even provide free on-site measurements, design advice, and delivery solutions, with bilingual support (Mandarin) as a bonus.
My favourite bit, though, is browsing around their showroom, as it’s designed to help buyers visualize or “feel” the results. The staff’s (namely Jasper’s) patience and know-how in explaining different flooring types were the cherry on top.
I just wish they posted prices online. A virtual showroom would be quite convenient too.

In addition, they offer you a choice: let them handle the full scope of the project or do some parts of it yourself to save cash. Financing options are also available, so you can spread costs and avoid delays.
Unlike most entries, though, they’re closed on weekends and don’t stock flooring supplies themselves.

With several clients praising ENYeg’s efficiency, we had to give them a closer look. Turns out, they often meet deadlines and even tidy up the place once the project is completed.
Experience and flexibility are two other reasons they secured a spot here. The company has been running since 2013, with hardwood, vinyl, lamination, and carpet tile solutions as some of its specialties.
However, they’re a relatively smaller crew, so you might have to wait during peak seasons. You can’t score supplies here either.
The good news? ENYeg accepts painting, basement upgrades, and even full renovation projects. Sure, waiting can happen, but once you get them, there’s no need to waste time looking for a third-party contractor for the said services.
Best of all, their prices are justified, and Milenko Seatovic, the owner, handles the communication front himself with responsiveness and professionalism.

The Job Was Done Perfectly
Milenko was incredibly professional and did an amazing job on installing vinyl plank flooring in our basement and office. He and his partner were efficient with their time and the job was done perfectly. Longevity matched with convenience is what made us consider Quality Red Tag Floors. You see, they’re over 15 years old and have an actual Edmonton-based warehouse, which often reduces wait times.
We also didn’t come across several negative feedback in terms of pricing and support. Most clients even called the prices fair and the help quick.
That said, it’d be nice if they gave clients access to a virtual showroom, too.
Some might also not like the installation setup, as they’re mainly a retailer and hire separate crews to handle the labour. Though to be fair, they only work with insured and WCB-compliant teams.
Other than that, Quality Red Tag is worth checking out. Landing in Edmonton’s Top 3 flooring companies (2021 to 2023) and being entrusted with 1,225-plus projects didn’t happen by chance.
The extras, such as free quotes and on-site estimates, are also noteworthy perks.

We used Red Tag Flooring to renovate our home before listing it for sale. Red Tag completed the installation of laminate flooring and carpet throughout the house. It was a very seamless process with great communication from the initial meeting to provide a quote and throughout the installation process. They offer a wide range of choices for every budget and a large variety of color selections to choose from. The final product met our expectations, and the color selections that Red Tag helped us pick out went well together. Red Tag recommended some additions to finish our stairways, and in the end, it looked amazing. I would highly recommend this company for your next project.

Given our focus on experience and quality, it’s only right that Touchwood Flooring lands a spot here. They’ve maintained a great rep since 1997.
Most of their projects also get wrapped up on schedule, with the results that usually look fantastic even when working with old flooring. In fact, we met satisfied clients who praised Touchwood for properly handling their decades-old floor (one was even 60 years old!).
We love the showroom, too, which we visited this August 2025. It had a proper mix of Canadian and European hardwood, vinyl, carpet tile, and specialty finishes.
As for services, we gave them extra marks for variety. Installation is covered, alongside hardwood refinishing (hardwood floor refinishing edmonton), transitioning, restoration, and commercial solutions; most crews here only cover installation and finishing.
On the downside, you can’t drop by on Saturdays and Sundays. A few clients also flagged Touchwood’s slow replies or lack thereof.

Nice and Helpful
This is our 3rd time using Touchwood Flooring. Our first was the install of Kempas wood on our new home build 20 years ago. We had the floors refinished 15 years later (after kids and life use). The bevelled edges were sanded down and the finish changed from shiny to satin. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL and we are very happy. We recently had the carpet taken out of our master bedroom and Sapele wood installed. The planks are long and wide and match the main floor hardwood well. We were thrilled that Greg and Leona Cook and Touchwood Flooring are still around. The shop is beautiful with tons of different wood to see and touch. The wood was delivered and the work started and completed on exactly the date quoted. The installers were the best—two hardworking guys, on time, tidy work area, nice and helpful (we needed their help moving a heavy cabinet).
