We like how Resonate Music School & Studio gives active members recording-studio benefits. That perk includes one complimentary hour for every three consecutive months of membership.
As for the school, it operates on a straightforward month-to-month membership that completely frees you from long-term commitments.
They even keep their custom curriculum running all year, so your technical progress doesn’t stall during school breaks.
The whole environment feels encouraging as well. During an afternoon tour of their facilities, we watched a student mix a tracking session comfortably, which highlighted how supportive this ecosystem is.
Unfortunately, they don’t permit temporary membership pauses, so students taking an extended absence must remain enrolled. We suggest using available make-ups or submitting a cancellation with the required 30-day paid notice.

Edmonton Guitar Music School delivers a structured approach that uses written lesson plans focused on each student’s needs and goals.
The school’s chief instructor also belongs to the Elite Music Teachers’ Inner Circle. This means that their lessons follow written, goal-focused plans designed around your specific objectives.
We also appreciate their multiple lesson formats, including options for students who work shift hours.
It’s also great that the academy organises communal workshops and specialised practice sessions. These learning opportunities allow students to participate in thematic workshops and practice sessions outside regular lessons.
A bonus is that newcomers can take advantage of a completely free introductory session to test out the studio environment before spending any money.
The primary downside is that all lessons are entirely studio-based, so you’ll have to commute since they don’t offer home visits.
A fantastic place to learn guitar
I have been taking lessons here for several years now and it has always been a wonderful experience. Bailey Sutton has been teaching me almost from day one. The whole team a has helped me grow with this new skill. They have flexible hours throughout the week.
