I hired N&C Construction Renovation to handle my recent house renovation. Experience is always one of my top considerations, so knowing they have more than 20 years in the business made it easier to trust them with the project.
What also pushed me to go with them was their range of skills. They handled the usual upgrades in my basement and kitchen, but they also offered custom work like staircases and a fireplace. They even took care of my garden with their landscaping services, so the whole property ended up feeling refreshed!
I appreciated the 2-year warranty and the fact that they promised 24/7 availability if I ever need support.
The only downsides were that they don’t provide financing, so I had to arrange that myself, and you need to call them directly for a quick quote.

Getting started is simple, since they offer a free estimate that gives a clear idea of costs before committing. They also provide a 2-year warranty, so you’ll get a solid assurance on the quality of their work.
What’s also interesting is that they include professional cleaning services on all their projects, making it easy to move back in once everything is finished. Furthermore, they have financing options in case you want some help in spreading out the cost.
However, I should point out that they require 80% of the total fee to be paid before the project is finished. They also only do residential work, so no commercial jobs.

Another seasoned contractor I recommend is Do It All Contracting. They’ve been around since 1997 and can take on both residential and commercial projects anywhere in Edmonton.
One of the best things about them is that they don’t just stick to one type of job. They handle kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and even exterior work like roofing.
A nice touch is that they coordinate permits and inspections for you, which saves clients from the headache of dealing with city paperwork. They also offer financing options to make a big reno feel a bit more manageable.
On top of that, every job comes with a 2-year warranty for peace of mind.
Still, there are some caveats. They’re one of the pricier contractors in Edmonton, and they stay busy, so you’ll most likely have to wait a few days or weeks before they can start on your project.

Cost overruns with renovations can be a scary thing, which is why I’m glad Peak Improvements has the Guaranteed Price and No Surprise Contract. Basically, once you sign on, the price stays locked in, no matter what happens.
They handle kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and full remodels, and they also have an Age in Place service. This approach focuses on adding smart systems and accessibility features so your home remains comfy and safe as you get older.
I like that they have in-house designers who walk through layouts and finishes, making the process less overwhelming.
On the warranty side, they offer a limited lifetime guarantee on materials and workmanship, but it’s non-transferable. That’s fine if you’re staying put, though not ideal if you plan to sell.
They also use subcontractors, so quality can vary.

Diamond Contracting has over 25 years of experience and has taken on plenty of residential and commercial projects around Edmonton. They caught my eye after I found out they were named Renovator of the Year at the 2025 BILD Edmonton Metro Awards.
What makes them interesting is their partnership with Revolving Rooms Interior Design. That collaboration means clients get both construction and design support, plus 6 hours of complimentary design time, which is a nice bonus.
Their services cover kitchens, bathrooms, and home additions. Thanks to their design collaboration, they can also create unique spaces like soundproofed music rooms or wine rooms. Detached garages are another option, useful if you want to keep fumes out of the house.
On the downside, some of their work is handled by subcontractors, which can affect consistency. They also lack a clear warranty policy, which makes comparisons harder.
